Download the Trayd app
To begin the onboarding process, you will need to download the Trayd mobile application from the App Store or Google Play Store. Trayd is available for both iPhone and Android smartphones.
Head to your primary email inbox and look for an email titled “[Company Name] has invited you to Trayd.” Click on this email to access the link to download the app. Alternatively, you can go directly to your phone’s app store, search for “Trayd,” and download the app.
Account sign up
Once you have downloaded the Trayd application, you can open the app to begin the sign up process. Make sure you are on the “Sign up” screen. After entering your email, phone number, and password, click the Sign up
button.
Account verification
Email address
After signing up, you will be asked to verify your email address. You will receive an email from **[email protected]*_ with the code to verify your email. Please copy this code and enter it in the Code_
text field. Then, click theVerify email
button.
Phone number
Now, you will be asked to verify your phone number. You will receive an SMS text from Trayd ****with the code to verify your number. Please copy this code and enter it in the text field. On the “Ready to create an account?” screen, click Yes, get started
to begin creating your account.
Account creation
Add your personal data
Once you have verified your email address, you will be prompted to add the following personal data: basic personal data, residential address, and social security number (SSN)
- Basic Personal Data (i.e. first name, last name, date of birth)
- Residential Address
- Social Security Number (SSN)
- Add your first name, last name, and date of birth. Scroll down and click
Continue
. - Add your residential address, scroll down, and click

.

On the “Social Security Number” screen, add your SSN and click
Continue
.If you do not have a SSN, then select the
I don’t have a Social Security Number
toggle. You will then see a “No SSN?” pop-up. Click theConfirm
button. Then, clickContinue
.
- After you submit all your personal data, review all the information you entered to make sure that it is matches the details in your government-issued ID. If it all looks correct, go ahead and click
Confirm & Continue
.
Add a passkey
Now, you will be prompted to “Add a passkey” in order to validate your ID. You can go ahead and click the Launch registration
button to add a passkey. If you wish to skip this step, you can select Learn more
. Then, can click the Do later
button.
Verify your identity
- On the “Capture or upload your ID document” screen, select the ID document you want to take a picture of or upload. Scroll down to see all the options available to you. Click
Continue
. - Next you will be prompted to give Footprint access to your phone’s camera or photo album. Select the
Allow
option to continue.
- To complete the ID verification process, you will need to share 1 picture of the front of your government-issued ID and 1 photo of the back of your ID.
Add your bank details
Almost done! The last step is to add your bank details so that your employer can pay you.
If you have a bank account, you can go ahead and add the relevant bank details for the account where you want to receive your pay. Review Trayd’s ‘Terms and Conditions’, click the check box to agree to our ‘Terms and Conditions’, and then click the Submit
button.
If you do not have a bank account, you can de-select the I have a bank account where I can receive wages
toggle and then click the Next
button. Review Trayd’s terms and conditions, click the check box to agree to our terms ad conditions, and then click the Submit
button.
All set! You have now successfully created your account on Trayd
